At the National Level: |

Working Group comprising of all State Directors of Employment conduct National level
meetings who decide about issues, policy and procedure to be followed in the country.
Their decisions are conveyed to the States who further implement them through executive
instructions |

At the State Level: |

All major decisions regarding policy matters are taken at the Directorate level with the
due approval of the Secretary Labour and Employment, who is the administrative head of
the Department.Amendments/ modification procedure/ policy matters are taken up in the
standing committee comprising of officers posted at the Directorate and in the field. |

For all cases related to important policy matters and rules documents are prepared at the
Directorate level for administrative approval of the Secretary Labour & Employment. For
internal administrative and functional matters cases are prepared and checked till the
level of Additional Director for final approval by the Director of Employment |

For submissions, scheme of selection is displayed on the notice board. |
